Nick Carter Breaks Down On Stage During Backstreet Boys Tribute To Late Brother Aaron

Aaron Carter was discovered dead in the bathtub of his California home on Saturday afternoon, according to TMZ. Fans are aware that the 34-year-old suffered with drugs and mental illness in the years leading up to his death.

Aaron’s elder brother, Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, is now mourning his brother’s death and was spotted weeping on stage during a homage to his brother on Sunday night.

Backstreet Boys performed “No Place” on Sunday night in London, England, while photographs of Aaron Carter flashed on the screen behind them.
Nick, understandably, grew emotional and began crying. Fellow BSB members A.J. McLean, Brian Littrell, and Howie Dorough rushed over to hug Nick and burst into tears.

As the other bandmates comforted Nick, Kevin Richardson addressed the crowd.

“Tonight we’ve got heavy hearts because we lost one of our family members yesterday, and we just wanted to find a moment in our show to recognize him,” he said.

“Nick’s little brother, Aaron Carter passed away yesterday. He’s part of our family.”

“We’d like to dedicate this song to our little brother, Aaron Carter. … May he rest in heaven,” Howie added.

While this is an incredibly difficult time for Nick, fans were glad to see him being so supported by his bandmates.
