Carrie Underwood Shares Adorable Video of 3-Year-Old Son Working Out to an Old Tae Bo Video

Carrie Underwood is enjoying some time at home with her family before returning to her ‘The Denim & Rhinestones Tour,’ but it appears her 3-year-old son isn’t taking any days off. The 39-year-old country music sensation shared an adorable video of her youngest son working out to an old Tae Bo video.

“The boys found one of my old Tae Bo DVDs in a box of things and Jake thought he’d have himself a little morning workout! I may soon have myself a gym buddy!” she wrote in the Instagram caption – adding that he was ‘starting the day off right.’ The post was liked by more than 131,000 fans and followers.

In the video, her son was seen mimicking – or, at least, trying to – the Tae Bo instructor (Billy Blanks) as he went through the intense workout. Jake lasted a few seconds before busting out a dance move and running/crashing into a nearby sofa. It’s an adorable scene many parents around the world can relate to.

Carrie Underwood gave birth to her youngest son, Jacob Bryan Fisher, on January 21, 2019 – he’ll be turning four years old in two weeks. She also shares a second child with her husband and former NHL player, Mike Fisher – a son named Isaiah Michael Fisher who was born on February 27, 2015.

It appears Jacob is taking an early interest in health and fitness – coming as no surprise, considering his father was a professional athlete and his mother is dedicated to her own health and fitness journey. Carrie not only owns a fitness app but also published a health and fitness book titled Find Your Path in 2020.

While there’s a chance Jacob follows in his father’s footsteps, you can’t rule out the possibility of him following in his mother’s footsteps. Of course, he could forge his own path in life and become an astronaut – something she alluded to in an Instagram photo of her family trip to the NASA Space Center.

“Had the best day talking to astronauts in space, driving moon rovers, checking out space station replicas, and meeting some really cool people! Thanks to @astro_kimbrough and everyone there for showing us around and being so sweet to my boys (who may just end up being future astronauts)” she wrote.

The grind won’t stop there. After a brief break, Carrie Underwood will open the doors to her Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency for 18 shows between June and December 2023. The residency will take place in The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas, which has a capacity of roughly 5,000 audience members.

Carrie Underwood was the first artist to perform at the theater after it opened its doors on December 1, 2021 – a sold-out show. Her first show back is scheduled for June 21st with four more shows following in the month of June. There will be just one show in July, but she’ll return for six shows in September, one in November, and five in December to close out 2023.
